Converting a 120 roll to 620

620 Film Is No Longer Produced Today

Due to insufficient demand, 620 film is no longer manufactured today. This is unfortunate because some cameras, such as the Super-Kinax, use this format.

Converting 120 Film to 620 Format

First, you need to find or buy two empties 620 spools.

Using these cameras is still possible, but it requires transferring the film from a 120 spool onto a 620 spool.

This simple manipulation allows old 620 cameras to continue being used with modern 120 film.
