The Beaugency Bridge
Built in the 14th century and restored several times over the centuries, the Beaugency Bridge crosses the Loire River and spans 460 meters.
The bridge is still in use today.
Nature and stone

The sandbanks and trees that have taken root behind the pillars.
The branches of the trees that hide the bridge, as if it was an abandoned ruin. The turbulence and splashes of the Loire River as it continues its course around the pillars.
This photograph is not so much about the bridge but about the interaction between the structure and nature.
