For the past two days, Google has significantly reduced ElectroCroissant.art’s ranking in search results.

The number of impressions has dropped tenfold.

Why Google hates ElectroCroissant

A discreet popup

ElectroCroissant is much more than a small blog offering free posts and also offering deep and well-crafted content accessible for $8 per month.

And as I noticed that people coming to my website tend to miss that point, I’ve decided to take action to make it apparent.

The discreet popup that causes google to punish Electrocroissant.

The funny thing is that I took care to ask Gemini (Google AI) about the good way of doing it.

Conclusion: even Google AI doesn’t measure correctly Google’s level of greediness.

Don’t believe Google’s fallacious arguments

Do you think people who arrive on ElectroCroissant, will run away because of a popup that closes in one click?

Or do you think that they’ll just read or click on the cross and then enjoy the free content for what they came for?

Google will tell you that the first the first proposal is what most people do and because of that ElectroCroissant doesn’t deserve to appear in the search results.

It’s false.

The real reason behind Google’s hate of ElectroCroissant.art

ElectroCroissant is a handcrafted website created by Rayhan RAHIM KHAN, an art and photography enthusiast.

The goal of ElectroCroissant is to make art accessible to everyone, whether through free, high-quality articles or paid content.

And to allow me to sustain this project – and because all work deserves compensation – I’m offering a reasonably-priced subscription of $8 so that those who are truly interested can enjoy rare and high-quality content.

Is it bad to inform people visiting your website that you offer paid content?

Google doesn’t like people that don’t pay their taxes

“What? ElectroCroissant is proposing a sub’ and what’s more, it makes it visible with a popup? This f**** has to pay taxes! You cannot use Google SEO to gain customers! You have to pay ads.
Let’s remove Electrocroissant from search results until it stops using SEO to gain customers.
If you don’t pay ads, you’ll have to shut up about your paid services. You have to work for us for free and provide quality content to feed our search results without us giving you anything in return.”

That’s the true reasoning of google. Do not think for one second that they really care about user experience.

ElectroCroissant will no longer make any effort for Google

Am I using bad words here? Do you think google will definitively delist ElectroCroissant?

Anyway, I don’t care anymore. Google has never been fair to ElectroCroissant, relegating its articles to the bottom of search results despite their quality and relevance even before this popup.

Google prefers to serve up generic garbage designed to please its algorithms, offering nothing to its users.

So be it.

Don’t trust Google

Next time you use Google and don’t find what you are looking for, remember this: quality content that answers your queries exist, Google simply doesn’t want you to see it.
