ElectroCroissant is a website dedicated to art. Human art. Generated images have no place here. AI doesn’t write creative content or reprocess a photo on ElectroCroissant.

AI and ElectroCroissant

Even if it is still anecdotal, I found it necessary to explain how AI is used on ElectroCroissant to avoid any confusion.

AI is used for marketing and basic tasks

AI is a very powerful tool and it would have been foolish to not use it to automate tedious and boring tasks (marketing) which take up a lot of time at the expense of my artistic activities mentioned above.

So don’t be surprised if from time to time there is a post promoting and explaining my work written by AI.

To avoid any ambiguity, I clearly state that this promotional article is made by AI and uses a specific color code (blue) so that it is immediately apparent.

These articles are also systematically reviewed by the site administrator before being published.

I also use AI as an encyclopedia or for basic questions – even if I always double check after – and to find title and description who better promote my articles to search engines .

To be brief, AI will always play a support role on ElectroCroissant, it will never take any decisions nor write or create anything substantial.

Technical and Material Reviews: no AI

You may ask yourself if I use the help of AI to write this type of content.

The answer is very little and never directly.

I always try to find primary sources while writing this kind of content. It is simply a work ethic that I have regarding technical subjects: always seek the source closest to the truth. This could be a user manual or a user’s comment on a forum for example.

I will never take for granted facts given by an AI who synthesized sources – and is therefore at least a secondary source – and very often hallucinates when dealing with subjects that are poorly documented on the internet, such as film photography.

As for your concern, the few times I tried asking AI about a somewhat technical matters concerning analog photography (functionality of a camera or tabular grain for example), most of the time I ended up with false information. So if your interest in analog photography becomes even slightly specialized, I advise you to not trust AI.

Nothing will change on ElectroCroissant

In fact, nothing will change. At this moment – and this has been the case from the start – ElectroCroissant has been run by one person who built this website from scratch to publish his artistic work and share his passion for photography.

AI is simply “taking over” as a technical and marketing advisor.

Which is an excellent thing for ElectroCroissant’s subscribers as Rayhan RAHIM KHAN will now have more time to devote to what is the raison d’être of this site, which is artistic creation.
