This is a crazy idea because it absolutely would not work.
When I started putting my artworks up for sale, nobody paid any attention to them.
I didn’t understand why, because some of my artworks were actually quite good.
At the same time, I was seeing mediocre photographers being followed by a tremendous number of people simply because they spent most of their time creating content -which is not art but most of the time weak blattering that helps people kill time.
I was very frustrated to notice people’s laziness and inability to properly judge an artwork – or maybe it is just a happily accepted mediocrity ? Sometimes I wonder.
Even if I am not happy spending time promoting my work at the expense of creative activity, I am at least proud to promote something that I truly find valuable.
